The Works?

  • It all began with an obsession of Sutton Foster’s 2011 Tony Awards performance for Anything Goes, and the rest is history. Since then, I’ve been involved in various stage works, both acting and directing, all while acquiring my Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre Performance from Virginia Commonwealth University.

  • After college, I was on the search to find an avenue in performance where I could truly let go and enjoy performing again. That’s when I discovered voiceover. I found that being able to let my talent speak for itself without the added stress over what I look like while I truly let go was a winning combo.

  • I’ve never thought of myself as a writer. That is, until I had the belief and encouragement of a teacher who pushed me to continue exploring who I am and everything I’m willing to offer. What was once just the adrenaline from creating a beautiful essay under the pressure of the clock, turned into a true appreciation for language and creativity. Plus, who doesn’t want the ability to create any scenario or world that they’d like to?

Voiceover

I discovered coming out of college that I wanted to explore different avenues of performance and longed for an art form that helped me feel free. That’s when I found voiceover. With the help of Bianca Bryan, owner of VoiceoverVA, I created a wonderful commercial demo reel and was coached to create beautiful work with that same freedom I had been searching for. Writing

I never thought of myself as a writer until I joined a playwriting course to fill a requirement in college. That was the moment that changed my perspective on the limit of my art, or lack thereof. Since then, I’ve taken various courses and written a variety of work. Here’s a snippet, feel free to read to your heart’s desire:
